SCW Shows Postponed

Southern Championship Wrestling has issued the following press release concerning two up-coming shows:

Adkins Texas:

We have been told by the owners of Texas Pride that we cannot have the date as we have had scheduled for Sept 20th, They over booked and now have Arron Tippen there doing a concert for a benifit show for the troops, We have spent several hundred dollars marketing this show and Was completely shocked when this was brought to my attention. I was dropping off presale tickets are there place when I was notified. I will be meeting with them in the next few weeks to get this issue resolved and hopefully rebuild a damanged relationship.



Beeville Texas:
A decision has to be made in regards to Beeville Texas and the show there. Based on the information we have, we wfeel the Beeville will take a major blow by the Huricane IKE, We also understand that all lanes on Highway 37 will all be north Bound lanes only, This is part of the evacuation plan they have in place. What we have done and agreed upon by The Texas Grand. We will post pone the show until Sept 20th, Just a 1 week delay, All presale tickets will be valid on this date, Just bring the the ticket you bought.

October 11th Castroville Texas at The Garage Sports Bar

Our final show in Carrizo Springs in 08 at the Royal Palace Ballroom

November 1st, Beeville Texas at the Texas Grand

November 22nd, Our 1 year Anniversary Show, This show will sell out, If you are planning to attend this show I would recomend making your reservations now. This event will be a very special night.


Decemebr 13th Pearsall Texas A&D Ballroom.


It is possible that we have 2 more events for this year, Adkins, depends on what becomes of our meeting and hopefully we can announce as early as next week on our show in Alice Texas.
