Local Wrestler in Accident Returning from Konnan Benefit

On the way home from the Konnan Benefit in Arlington Sunday Night, Joey Spector and his father were involved in an accident caused by a drunken driver also involving an 18 wheeler. Spector was unable to stop in time to avoid being a part of the accident. Joey asked me to make this post so that people know he is alright, but is in Austin tonight with his dad who suffered injured ribs from the airbag deployment and was taken to the hospital. We can expect a detailed blog from Joey once he has returned. Our thoughts are with Spector and his father and we are confident that he will be ok.

Considering the massive amount of travel put in by independent wrestlers going to and from shows it is remarkable that incidents like this do not happen more often. We look forward to seeing both Spector and his father at the next show.
