River City Wrestling - Saturday January 6th

River City Wrestling kicked off 2007 with the first wrestling show of they year Saturday night in an event with 7 matches featuring several wrestlers new to San Antonio fans plus the return of other wrestlers who have been absent for several months. The standing room only crowd filled the Bellaire Baptist Church Gym at 105 Clovis and were enthusiastic in supporting the wrestlers.

Match # 1 - J.T. LaMotta with Hardbodies Andrew Dalton & Joey Spector and Manager Brandon Oliver vs. Wally Darkmon (win)

Match # 2 - Triple Threat Match
Franco D'Angelo vs. Aguila Negro (win) vs. Quinten Allen

Match # 3 - Tag Team match to name # 1 Contender to Tag Belt.
International Playaz Club - Scott McKenzie & Greg Symmonds with Nicole (win) vs. The Nerdy Boys - Kris Kronie & Johnny Ender

Match # 4 - Kevin Douglas vs. Messiah (win)
* Post match - Douglas attacked RCW Junior Referee Chris.

Match # 5 - Tag Team Championship Match - 2 falls out of 3
Challengers The Hardbodies - Andrew Dalton & Joey Spector with J.T. LaMotta & Manager Brandon Oliver vs. The Texas Treats - Don Juan & Chris Marval (win 2 falls to 1, retains title)
* Post match - Hardbodies attacked LaMotta, blaming him for loss and kicking him out of the Hardbodies. LaMotta announced the coming of "The Mind of Wrestling."

Match # 6 - B.J. Turner (win) vs. Gemini

Match # 7 - Main Event - Tag Team Tables Match
Team Mex - Sicodelico Jr. & Hotstuff Hernandez with Miss Laura (win) vs. Ikaika & One Man Mike Dell with Commissioner Yebisu
* Post match - Mike Dell & Ikaika were both helped to the lockerroom area following being sent through tables.
