Notes: Jerome Daniels & his crew conducted an "inauguration" ceremony before the 2nd match.
Andy Dalton piledrove Mr.Right on the floor after their match. Mr.Right had to be helped to the back.
Ben Galvan bled heavily during his match with Keith Lee.
During the main event, Commissioner Reinagel constantly interfered on Lance Rock's behalf. After the match, Brandon Oliver confronted Reinagel and was attacked by Reinagel & Lance Rock. Reinagel & Rock then announced that RCW was now Reinagel Championship Wrestling and challenged anyone to a match on the next show. Oliver said Hernandez would face Rock on the next show, February 7th.
Very good show. Probably RCW's best since returning to Church Triumphant.
Brandon Oliver also announced that O.D.B. from TNA would be appearing on the Feb.21st show.

The San Antonio Independent Wrestling Scene received the following note from local wrestling fan Bambam.
Last night on 23 Jan 09, Chris a.k.a Mr Bear and I joined about 100 people to view the San Antonio premier of "The Wrestler". This event was put on by RCW (River City Wrestling) and W4CW (Warriors for Christ Wrestling).
I would have to say that this movie was really good. I really enjoyed the plot and the acting. I feel Mickey Roark was excellent. He really caught the essence of his character. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. I gotta buy it.
Afterwords was a round table discussion on the movie by both RCW and W4CW wrestlers and the legendary Jose Lathario. It was real interesting to hear their view of the movie. I would recommend this movie to all wrestling fans and also to those who just want to know more about the industry from an old school wrestler's point of view.
