NWA Pro Concludes Texas Tour
NWA Pro is a national company which will be central to the upcoming NWA Heavyweight Championship Tournament, so an appearance on one or more of these cards was a big deal. The Scene would like to congratulate all the local wrestlers involved in the tour and to apologize for not reporting on it earlier.

Club Kah-lua
Sunday April 29, 2007
Match # 1 - Mr. B (win) vs. Dragon X
Match # 2 - Bio-Hazard Jaykus Plisken (win) vs. Scott Draven
Match # 3 - Cobra vs. Renegade (win)
Match # 4 - Gabe the Babe vs. Rudy Russo (win)
Match # 5 - STPW Texas Heavyweight Title Match
Challenger Yamato vs. Champion Shingo with Toshiro Nishida (win & retain title)
Notes: Prior to the first match, Gabe the Babe came out and demanded that his match against Russo be a title match for Russo's Cruiserweight Championship. STPW CEO Virus declared that if Gabe won he would get a shot at the next show, but if he lost he would be Russo's personal valet until Russo lost the belt. Since he was unable to get the win, a tearful Gabe sulked back to the lockerroom knowing he was going to have to be Russo's valet.
The main event was originally set to be Rexx Reed facing Shingo for the Texas Heavyweight Title, but injuries kept Reed off the card. Yamato stepped in to make the challenge an all Dragon Gate match. Following the match, Shingo, though his manager Toshiro announced that he was returning to Japan and was returning the belt. Virus accepted the belt and announced that STPW would be holding a title tournament to fill the vacancy at the next show. Look for details at www.myspace.com/stpwlair

Franco D'Angelo, Rudy Russo, Ikaika & Rory Fox vs. Hotstuff Hernandez, Chris Marval, Quinten Allen & Marty Cone (win)
Notes: This show was part of a MetalFest music show with bands playing sets between the matches. The team of Perfectly Beautiful, which had experienced difficulties the night before seemed to get its act together a bit as both D'Angelo and Russo won their singles matches with the help of their partner on the outside of the ring. Rory Fox won his biggest match since coming to RCW by upsetting TNA Superstar Hotstuff Hernandez. The main event was settled when Hernandez pinned Russo following a Hot Bomb.
The next RCW show will be May 19th at the Bellaire Baptist Church Gym. The main event will be an 8 man match between Team Mex and The Coalition of Caucasian Knight. This match will be contested inside an electrified steel cage. Check out www.rcw-wrestling.com for details.

Match # 1 - Quinten Allen vs. "Delicioso" Don Juan (win)
Match # 2 - J.T. LaMotta (win) vs. "Milky Smooth" Marty Cone
Match # 3 - Scott McKenzie with Miss Laura (win) vs. Chris Marval

Match # 6 - Rory Fox vs. "Showtime" Eric Young (win)
Match # 7 - Main Event - Inter-Gender Tag Team Match
Mike Foxx & Miss Laura with Scott McKenzie & Dick Peabody vs. Hotstuff Hernandez & The Lovely Nicole (win)
Notes: At the beginning of the show, RCW announcer Jeff Houston introduced TNA Superstar "Showtime" Eric Young. Members of the Coalition of Caucasian Knights; Mike Foxx, Scott McKenzie, Miss Laura, Rory Fox and a large man who was later identified as Dick Peabody (unconfirmed), came to the ring. Rory Fox told Young that his "boss" Robert Roode had made Young a member of the Caucasian Knights for the evening. RCW owner Brandon Oliver came to the ring in his unsettling Hardbodies ring gear and announced that not only were Roode's orders ineffective in RCW, but that tonight Young would be fighting Rory Fox. Next out was Young's fellow TNA Superstar Hotstuff Hernandez who challenged Mike Foxx and Miss Laura to an intergender tag team match later in the evening. The challenge was accepted.
Before his match, The Mind of Wrestling JT LaMotta came to the ring and admonished the crowd for failing to support him, accusing them instead of embracing the gay lifestyle of the Hardbodies. To combat this, LaMotta called out the "toughest" man in the lockerroom which lead to the RCW debut of the shockingly flamboyant "Milky Smooth" Marty Cone.
During the Tag Championship Match, the challengers "Perfectly Beautiful" ran into some teamwork issues. During the confusion, LaMotta rushed the ring and attempted to superkick one of the Hardbodies, he missed however and knocked out Russo, setting up the pin and victory for the Hardbodies.
Prior to the intermission, RCW Commissioner Yebisu came to the ring and announced that he was resigning as commissioner. In an emotional pique, Yebisu stripped to his shorts and proclaimed "Don't Forget." Later in the show, Ray the voice was introduced as the new commissioner.
During the feature match with Eric Young, the newest member of the CoCK, Rory Fox, was clearly flustered by the chants of the crowd who managed to incorporate the Chicken Dance into the chanting and singing.
The main event was an intergender tag match in which the men and women were treated equally. That is men could be in the ring with women. The lovely Nicole suffered most from this as she was stuck in the ring with both Miss Laura and Mike Foxx, while Hotstuff Hernandez pleaded for the tag. Eventually, Nicole headed to the lockerroom, leaving Hernandez to fend for himself. Hernandez managed to duck a punch by Foxx, whose hand was wrapped in a chain thrown into the ring by the mysterious Mr. Peabody. Hernandez slammed Foxx for the pin. After the match, the CoCK rushed the ring to attack Hernandez. The other members of Team Mex came to make the save, but when several nooses were brought to the ring it appeared that CoCK was going to hold a Lynching Party. Eric Young rushed the ring with a chair, clearing the ring. New Commissioner Ray the Voice announced that the main event at the next show at Bellaire Baptist Church would be a four on four match inside an electrified steel cage. This event is set for May 19th.
Before that date however, RCW will be part of MetalFest at Graham Central Station on Saturday April 29th. Check out www.rcw-wrestling.com for details on all River City Wrestling events.

Sunday April 22, 2007
Match # 1 - "One Man" Mike Dell (win) vs. xOMGx
Match # 2 - Anarchy Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Title Match
Joey "Magnum" Ryan vs. "Showtime" Scot Summers (win & retain title)
Match # 3 - IWA Women's Title Match
Challenger Daffney Unger vs. Champion Mickie Knuckles (win & retain title)
Match # 4 - "Bio-Hazard" Jaykus Plisken vs. Roderick Strong
Match # 5 - Massive vs. "Xtreme Bulldawg" Rexx Reed (win)
Match # 6 - Hotstuff Hernandez vs. Low Ki (win)
Match # 7 - Masada vs. Necro Butcher (win)
Match # 8 - Main Event - 4 team Elimination Tag Team Match - ACW Tag Team Championship Match
Challengers: Hugh Rogue & Chuey Martinez with Sexy Stevi Koi vs. The Naptown Dragons - Diehard Dustin Lee & Vortekz vs. Old & Younger - Ian Rotten & Drake Younger vs. Champions: The Children of Pain - Jacob Ladder & Darin Childs (win & retain title)
Notes: Simply put, this was the biggest and best independent wrestling show to run in San Antonio since the late 1970's as the most dynamic promotion in independent wrestling teamed up with the promotion which is revolutionizing Texas wrestling. Prior to the show Ian Rotten came out and greeted the crowd. He also made the sad announcement that Homicide's mother had suffered a stroke this morning; therefore the announced match against Necro Butcher would be changed. Necro's new opponent was to be
In the first match, One Man Mike Dell was pressed to the limit by xOMGx, clearly underestimating the masked man who was trained by American Kickboxer at the R.A.A.G.E Dojo. Fans supported xOMGx in this match, but when Dell hit his finisher "The One Timer," that was the end of the match.
In the next match, Joey Ryan was set to face former IWA light heavyweight champion Josh Abercrombie, however Abercrombie missed a connecting flight from
The women's title match came damn close to stealing the show as "The Scream Queen" Daffney Unger showed that she was not just a hot babe in her challenge against Champion Mickie Knuckles. On a show entitled "Sunday Bloody Sunday", it was Knuckles who was first to bleed when she hit a ringpost outside the ring. In perhaps the most unusual submission attempts ever, Daffney almost smothered Knuckles between her breasts. When Mickie escaped, she responded with double clawholds to Daffney's breasts. Following a vicious head but, Daffney ducked a shining wizard kick but Mickie's momentum allowed her to roll up Daffney for the pin. Ian Rotten came out afterward and praised Daffney for her wrestling, prompting the first chant of "Please come back!" of the evening from the appreciative crowd.
Next on the card, Roderick Strong had been scheduled to face Davey Richards, however the promotion in Europe where Richards had been wrestling failed to get Richards the correct ticket, delaying his return to the
Following the intermission, the two largest men in Anarchy Championship Wrestling got the opportunity to show their skills to the fans in attendance and those who will view the show later on DVD. Massive and Rexx Reed, who had almost teamed up to win the ACW belts the previous night put their friendship aside for the sake of this match. Rarely does one find super-heavyweights like these men with the agility and skills of men half their size, so the action was faster and more impactful than a typical super-heavyweight match. In an amazing moment, The Xtreme Bulldawg Rexx Reed lifted the aptly named Massive high up for a powerslam that rattled the building and resulted in the pin and victory for Reed.
While what had come up to this point would have been considered an outstanding show from any promotion, the next three matches took the action to a level higher than anyone could have imagined. It was these 3 matches that raised this show to epic proportions as only IWA Mid-South and Anarchy Championship Wrestling could.
In what would be a main event on any card anywhere in the world, the next match featured Hotstuff Hernandez facing Low Ki. Although considerably smaller than the "300 lb Tex-Mex T-Rex," Low Ki was not about to back down from any man. It is doubtful however, that Low Ki has faced many men who were able to absorb more of his high impact offense than did Hernandez. Hotstuff dominated much of the match, but Low Ki continued to come back, prompting the first of several "This is Awesome!" chants from the enthusiastic crowd. Eventually, Low Ki hit some amazing kicks to Hernandez's head and body stunning the big man and gaining the victory. The crowd went wild, rarely having seen local favorite Hernandez beaten in any manner.
Next up was the anticipated match-up between Necro Butcher and
The only match which could have followed this was the main event, a four team battle for the ACW tag team titles. The first team to enter the ring, Chuey Martinez with Sexy Stevi Koi and Homeless Hugh Rogue has hade issues with each other over the last few months and had battled in some incredibly violent matches recently. They did not seem to have their differences fully settled as both men appeared to be threatening the other to not screw up in this match. The next team to enter was the Naptown Dragons, Diehard Dustin Lee and Vortekz. Third out was the team of Ian Rotten and Drake Younger. Finally the ACW Tag Champs, The Children of Pain came out. The crowd responded enthusiastically to Jacob Ladder and Darin Childs who were accompanied to the ring by Rachel Summerlyn. Action exploded immediately as four separate battles erupted and spread throughout the building. Nearly every manner of weapon imaginable was used in this match as light tubes, thumbtacks, baseball bats, dozens of yards of barb wires, steal chairs, tables, kendo sticks and kendo sticks wrapped in barbwire with thumbtacks and light tubes came into play. Plainly put it was impossible to keep up with all the action. The match appeared to be over when Ian Rotten pinned Vortekz. Rotten and Younger were announced as the new champions, but Drake Younger was so caught up in the moment that he stated that the match should continue with elimination rules. Rotten was shocked at his partner's impetuous statement, but before he could object the referee sanctioned the stipulation and the match continued with the three remaining teams. Moments later, Darin Childs and Chuey Martinez climbed the balcony and fought for position over the makeshift tables set up 12 feet below them. When Childs gained the advantage he hit an Ace Cutter from the balcony through the tables and Chuey was quickly eliminated. This left two teams, the defending champions Childs and Ladder and the two men who had seemed to have already won the belts, Ian Rotten and Drake Younger. More light tubes appeared as if by magic and the violence continued without letup. When Jacob Ladder hit a tombstone piledriver on Ian Rotten onto a box of light tubes, the final pinfall was counted and the Children of Pain were once again the Anarchy Championship Wrestling Tag Team Title Holders.
After the match, the ring area was cleared and fans were invited back into the bar to party into the night with the wrestlers. Any attempt to document the activities from the after party would be ill-advised. Suffice to say that the action did not end with the final bell.

ACW "Fall From Grace" Results and Notes
"Fall From Grace"
Giddings Texas Grand Ballroom
Saturday April 21, 2007
Match # 1 - Berry vs. Skylar Skelley with Chesty LaRue and Starr Babaganoush (win)
Match # 2 - Tag Match
Rexx Reed & Massive (win) vs. Double Trouble: Chris James & Tony Vega
Match # 3 - Rory Fox vs. Mike Dell (double countout - dq)
Match # 4 - Daffney Unger (win) vs. Rachel Summerlyn with Skelley, LaRue, Babaganoush & Drew Lucid
Match # 5 - Ricky Rhodes vs. Chuey Martinez (win)
Match # 6 - ACW Tag Team Championship - Hardcore Rules
Challengers - Rexx Reed & Massive vs. Champions - The Children of Pain: Jacob Ladder & Darin Childs (win & retain titles)
Match # 7 - ACW Heavyweight Championship Match
Challenger - Masada vs. Champion - "Showtime" Scott Summers (win & retain title)
Notes: The first match was the first ACW sanctioned match for Skylar Skelley who made his return to in ring action on Thursday with an unsanctioned match in Seguin following a severe shoulder injury.
Following the second match, the ACW Tag Champions the Children of Pain Jacob Ladder and Darin Childs came to the ring and congratulated the winners Reed & Massive. The CoP went on to offer them a shot at the ACW Tag Belts later on the show. When Massive and Reed agreed, the CoP revealed that the match would be a hardcore no-rules match.
Fox & Dell both insisted prior to the match that this be a "pure wrestling match" and would have nothing to do with the Anarchy Championship Wrestling "no rules" philosophy. When the pair was counted out and disqualified they both objected, but were forced to live with the stipulation they had both insisted upon. Records indicate that this is the first ACW match ever to end in a count-out.
Daffney Unger and Rachel Summerlyn wrestled in the nights feature match and these ladies may have stolen the show with their skill, charisma and beauty. Rachel was accompanied to the ring by all the members of Kissyboots, however the match was free from outside interference.
The Lonestar Kid Ricky Rhodes was shocked to find out that his match against the Chicano Assasin Chuey Martinez had a Special Guest Referee: Chuey's Valet Sexy Stevi Koi. Rhodes did not have time to object as the hardcore action started immediately. Rhodes was unable to overcome the odds in the match.
The Tag Team Championship match was a no-rules hard core match. Although Massive and Rexx Reed do not have the experience the champions have in this type of match, the pair pushed the champs to the limit in only their second match as a team. After the match, the CoP congratulated the challengers on their performance and predicted that they would someday hold those belts.
In the main event, Showtime Summers successfully defended his ACW Heavyweight Title against yet another top talent in the Bad Ass from Big Japan Masada. Late in the match, Masada inadvertently hit the referee with a chair, knocking him out for several minutes. During this time both men were able to cover the other for what would have been a three count. When the ref finally regained his senses it was Summers who had Masada rolled up for the pin.
ACW returns to Giddings on May 26th. Additionally, ACW presents "Sunday Bloody Sunday" with IWA Mid-South Sunday April 22 at the Venue in San Antonio. Check out www.anarchychampionshipwrestling.com for details on all ACW upcoming events.

"April Reign"
Seguin Fiesta Ballroom
Thursday April 19, 2007
Match # 1 - Doink the Clown (win) vs. Tony Vega
Match # 2 - ACW Hardcore Title Match
Challenger Rachel Summerlyn with Kissyboots vs. Champion Darin Childs (win & retains title)
Match # 3 - Ricky Rhodes with Gator vs. Enigma Skylar Skelley with Kissyboots (win)
Match # 4 - Masada (win) vs. Bio-Hazard Jaykus Plisken
Match # 5 - "One Man" Mike Dell (win) vs. Joey "Magnum" Ryan
Match # 6 - 3-way Elimination Match
Massive vs. Rory Fox (win) vs. Berry
Match # 7 - Main Event - ACW Heavyweight Title
Challenger Rexx Reed vs. Champion "Showtime" Summers (win & retain)
Notes: In the first match, Doink the Clown pinned Tony Vega while his feet were on the ropes.
In the second match, Rachel was accompanied to the ring by Starr Babaganoush, Chesty LaRue and Drew Lucid. After that match, Ricky Rhodes and his manager Gator attacked Childs. Darin's partner Jacob Ladder made the save, but Enigma Skylar Skelley came out and admonished Rhodes for attacking Childs. Skelley claimed that it was he who attacked the CoP after matches.
This set up the third match. While Gator was in Ricky Rhodes' corner during the match, Kissyboots members Rachel Summerlyn, Starr, Chesty and Drew were ringside in support of Enigma.
The match between Masada and Bio-Hazard Jaykus Plisken was a rematch from 4 days earlier in which Plisken pinned Masada while using the ropes. Masada gained a measure of revenge in this match by pinning Plisken.
In the feature match, "One Man" Mike Dell made his Seguin debut against The MTV's Wrestling Society X superstar Joey "Magnum" Ryan. Dell won the match following a spinning neckbreaker from the top turnbuckle.
The 3-way elimination match started with a flurry of offense from Berry on both of the other competitors but eventually he ran into the aptly named Massive who almost slammed him through the ceiling before bringing him hard to the mat. Fox stole that pin, but since this was an elimination match there was one more man to defeat. Following a point in which the referee was knocked to the mat, Massive attempted the Eddie Guerrero move of throwing a steel chair to Fox and felling to the mat feigning a chair shot. However when the ref recovered he reminded both wrestlers that ACW matches don't end in DQ. Fox took advantage of the situation and used the chair to knock out Massive and seal the victory.
The Main Event was an ACW Heavyweight Title Match with the challenger Rexx Reed, who had won the right 3 weeks ago in Seguin. Showtime proved up to the challenge with a sleeper choke hold which put the big man down. After the match "One Man" Mike Dell once again came to the ring to torment Summers. Once again Dell declined to stick around and face Summers one on one.
ACW continues their road trip with a double-shot weekend. On Saturday it's "Fall From Grace" at the Texas Grand Ballroom in Giddings and on Sunday the 22nd, Anarchy Championship Wrestling and IWA Mid-South are co-promoting "Sunday Bloody Sunday" back in San Antonio at the Venue. ACW "International Warfare" Results and Notes
"International Warfare"
Graham Central Station
Sunday April 15, 2007
Match # 1 - 4-Way Dance Elimination Match
(in Order Eliminated) Chad Thomas vs. "Showcase" Shance Williams vs. "The Natural" Mark Wilson vs. "Heatseeker" Tony Morales (win)
Match # 2 - "International Superstar" Spiro (win) vs. Berry
Match # 3 - First half of Double Main Event
Bio-Hazard Jaykus Plisken (win) vs. Masada
Match # 4 - Falls Count Anywhere, No DQ Deathmatch
Jacob Ladder vs. Rachel Summerlyn with Starr Babaganoush, Chesty LaRue & Drew Lucid (win)
Match # 5 - "Xtreme Bulldawg" Rexx Reed (win) vs. "The Lonestar Kid" Ricky Rhodes
Match # 6 - ACW Hardcore Championship Match - Ladder Match
Challenger "One Man" Mike Dell vs. Champion Darin Childs (win & retain title)
Match # 7 - Second half of Double Main Event - ACW Heavyweight Championship Match
Challenger Yamato with Toshiro Nishida vs. Champion "Showtime" Scott Summers (win & retain title)
Notes: In the 4-way elimination match, Williams eliminated Thomas. Wilson eliminated Williams and Morales pinned Wilson following a "Boricua bomb."
In the match between Bio-Hazard & Masada, Jaykus Plisken gained the pin with his feet on the ropes, which sets up a rematch Thursday in Seguin.
The Deathmatch between Jacob Ladder and Rachel was an impromptu match, which Ladder demanded. Rachel was joined by the other girls from Kissyboot, Starr & Chesty along with their roadie Drew Lucid. All 5 people in the match suffered extremely violent attacks. At the end, Enigma Skylar Skelley came to the ring and attempted to kick Ladder in the face, but Ladder blocked the kick and put Skelley through several light tubes. However the distraction was enough for Rachel to grab the pin and the victory for her band.
Rexx Reed's match was a warm up match for his title shot next Thursday in Seguin.
In the Hardcore championship match, Dell proclaimed his interest wasn't in winning the belt, but in punishing Childs by taking something belonging to him. Childs grabbed the belt a split second before Dell powerslammed him from the ladder to the mat. Before the winner could even be announced, former Hardcore champion Enigma rushed the ring and hit both men with kicks to the head. Skelley then berated the unconscious champion, claiming that the title belonged to him.
In the second half of the main event, when Referee John Pressley was knocked senseless, Yamato had the champion beat and covered but there was no ref to count the pin. As Pressley was regaining his composure, Yamato's manager Toshiro Nishida entered the ring and attempted to hit Summers with the kendo stick. Summers managed to duck out of the way and Yamato to the shot to the head leading to the pin.
After the match, Summers called Yamato back to the ring and shook his hand. One Man Mike Dell berated Summers for this show of sportsmanship but wouldn't stick around to accept Summers challenge to face off then and there.
Next Thursday, April 19th, Anarchy Championship Wrestling presents "April Reign" at the Fiesta Ballroom in Seguin Texas. 735 E IH-10 Bell time is 7 PM. Aside from the 2 matches mentioned above, this show will feature the ACW debut of MTV's Wrestling Society X superstar Joey "Magnum" Ryan who will face "One Man" Mike Dell. All the shows in Seguin thus far have been exciting, entertaining and well received by the fans and this one should be no different. Check out www.anarchychampionshipwrestling.com for detail on this and the other upcoming ACW events.

Notes: The special referree for the night was "Angelina Brutality." RBG was the announcer. In match #2 Mix 96 Dj Chris in the morning was the special referree. Earlier in the week he had been challenged by RBG to come and do our job for one night.
Show opened with the announcement that the Texas title and the tag titles will not be defended. That brought out the Dogg Pound who demanded to know why they weren't getting a shot. So RBG gave them an opportunity to face each other and the winner would face Hernandez.
The Shows in Del Rio are always exciting events as that huge crowd really appreciates the entertainment of TWE and the wrestlers respond to their enthusiasm. Check out www.texaswrestlingentertainment.com for details and announcements concerning all TWE events.
