San Antonio Independent Wrestling Scene

January 2006

Despite some set-backs in 2005, San Antonio's Independent Wrestling Scene is incredibly healthy entering 2006. In January three different organizations held card with a total of 43 different wrestlers participating in 22 matches. All three promotions have announced dates for February and all are optimistic about the future of wrestling in San Antonio.

This blog will attempt to record the results of matches in San Antonio, publicize upcoming events and provide information about the workers who devote long hours training for the chance to perform for us, the wrestling fan.

I will be posting a monthly list ranking the wrestlers who appeared in San Antonio during the last month. Rankings will be based on seven factors: Appearances, Matches, Wins, Main Event Matches, Title Matches, Holding a Title at the start of the evening, Ending the evening with a Title. For January, "Titan" Quinten Allen holds the number 1 spot due to his appearance on all three card. QA appeared in 5 matches including a main event. He was a Fan Favorite on two cards and a Top Heel on the third. Although his winning record only 1 win and 4 loses, his performance and versitility earned him the top spot on the first monthly ranking. Congratulations QA!
